Field Operations

The IFT Department of Field Operations provides direct, expert assistance and support to IFT local affiliates. Professional field service directors, full-time organizers and associate staff located in regional offices throughout Illinois provide IFT locals assistance with: contract negotiations and financial research; grievance administration and employee rights issues; crisis preparation; communications, and community relations. Field service directors also help members and leaders connect with other IFT departments to receive additional services and assistance.
