The IFT represents paraprofessionals and school-related personnel (PSRPs) in school districts across Illinois. The fastest growing group of employees in our union, PSRPs work as teaching assistants, secretaries, food service workers, bus drivers and others who provide critical services that support student learning. As IFT members in their local unions, PSRPs work to secure the fair pay, benefits, working conditions and respect they deserve as professionals.
