Going Green

The IFT has long been concerned about green initiatives and has worked over the years to adopt the "reduce, reuse, recycle" philosophy in all aspects of the organization.

From recycling waste paper and computer hardware, to printing on recycled paper with environmentally friendly soy based inks, to reducing distribution of printed materials, to our latest effort to use video conferencing to conduct meetings and avoid wasting the natural resources required by vehicle transportation, the union has taken steps to "go green" for more than a decade. As an organization committed to the environment, the IFT will continue to explore responsible ways to protect and sustain our planet.
