IFT Office Directory
The IFT Robert M. Healey Center is the headquarters for the statewide organization. The building consists of administrative offices and a state-of-the-art conference center that can accommodate meetings and events for up to 500 people in a convenient Chicago suburban location. The facility was built in partnership with the West Suburban Teachers Union, Local 571.
Opened in 2004, the building was named in honor of Robert M. Healey, who served as IFT president from 1971 – 1989. Under Healey’s leadership, the IFT grew dramatically in membership, staff and strength, and became a respected power at the Statehouse and throughout the labor movement.
