Participating IFT locals include Cahokia Federation of Teachers; Chicago ACTS; Illini Bluffs; Morton Council of Local 571; and Peoria Federation of Teachers. The East St. Louis Federation of Teachers celebrated both the 60th anniversary of Brown v. Board and their own local!

Benefits of collective bargaining
Three locals proved unity = victory in contract negotiations.UIC United Faculty and UNO charter school teachers and staff both secured historic first contracts! And, the Waukegan Council of Local 504 stood firm and avoided a strike.

Here’s to our heroes!
