Thousands of Illinois teachers and public employees took to the streets yesterday to hold in-district rallies to remind legislators that the "new" pension proposal will gut the retirement security of real people.

Members of IFT and the We Are One coalition held several actions throughout the state from Rockford, Lake County, Chicago Suburbs and Will County to Bloomington, Peoria, Quincy and the Metro East. All sharing the same message, VOTE NO ON PENSION THEFT LEGISLATION!
