While the State Senate voted to raise the minimum wage on Wednesday, the House adjourned without taking action.
While the State Senate voted to raise the minimum wage on Wednesday, the House adjourned without taking action. Lawmakers are not scheduled to return for a lame-duck session to address the issue unless Governor Quinn calls the House back.

The new 99th General Assembly will convene on January 14.
