Classroom PSRPs can sign up today for an informative conference to be held April 1-3 in Oak Brook, Ill.

If you can’t travel to attend the joint AFT PSRP and Higher Education Conference in Las Vegas this spring, take advantage of another professional development opportunity  right in your own backyard! Registration is now open for the 2016 National Resource Center for Paraeducators (NRCP) Conference.

The “TEAMWORK makes the DREAM work” themed-event will be held from April 1-3 in Oak Brook, Ill. Designed for classroom PSRPs, the conference will feature a variety of sessions designed to help you improve your professional practice. Workshop topics include: the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), literacy and math instruction, autism and other disabilities, effective behavior management, early childhood education, common core state standards, English language learners, and effective paraeducator/teacher teams.
