The Union Leadership Institute (ULI), IFT's popular union skills and professional development training program, is back (mostly) in-person for 2021-22. We can't wait to see YOU!
The Fall and Spring sessions of this long-running program will be held on site in Westmont; the Winter session will be conducted virtually only. (There will be NO virtual learning option for the Fall or Spring session.)
Course dates are:
November 6-7, 2021 (in-person)
February 5-6, 2022 (virtual)
April 23-24, 2022 (in-person)
IMPORTANT: To help ensure everyone's health and safety, all ULI participants and staff MUST be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or provide proof of a negative COVID test. (Please see the ULI Registration form for details.) No exceptions will be granted.
The ULI program is designed to meet the needs of both new and experienced union leaders and activists in all job categories. 2021-22 three-weekend core courses include:
Boot Camp for Union Leaders
Building and Sustaining Union Power
Effective Grievance Administration
Introduction to Collective Bargaining
Members must participate all three-weekends to complete their chosen course. Learn more, then register by Friday, October 15.
