Pursuant to Article II, Section 4, of the Illinois Federation of Teachers By-Laws you are hereby notified of four (4) vacancies on the IFT Executive Board. The term of office for these vacancies will expire in October 2028 and were created by the following actions:

In accordance with the IFT Constitution, members of the IFT have the right to place the name of a member in good standing in nomination for said vacancies. To do so, please send a nomination form to:

To ensure consideration of the nomination, the nomination form must be received by USPS, e-mail or personal delivery no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, January 26, 2026.

The executive board will select a candidate to fill said vacancies at the January 31, 2026 IFT Executive Board meeting being held in Westmont, IL. All nominees will be invited to attend the January meeting at their personal expense. Please note that hotel accommodations are not guaranteed and will be based on hotel availability.

Expenses will be reimbursed only if a nominee is selected to fill a vacancy on the board.

Remember, nominations must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, January 26, 2026.
