Virtual event will be held on March 20, 2021
This new year fills me with tremendous hope for our future! The inauguration of President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris marks a new chapter for unions, educators, and all working women and men.
To jump start this promising new beginning, I invite you to join me and your fellow IFT leaders at the 2021 IFT Presidents’ Conference to discuss some of the most pressing issues that we face. The event will be held online on Saturday, March 20, 2021 under the theme of “Sustainable Leadership.”
While this will be an abbreviated, virtual version of our traditional conference, local and council presidents will come together online to discuss, share, and learn about:
• COVID-19 recovery for our unions
• Equity and racial justice
• The importance of self-care during these stressful times
