Pursuant to Article II, Section 4, of the Illinois Federation of Teachers By-Laws you are hereby notified of two (2) vacancies on the IFT Executive Board. The term of office for these vacancies will expire in 2028 and were created by the following actions:

In accordance with the IFT Constitution, members of the IFT have the right to place the name of a member in good standing in nomination for said vacancies. To do so, please send a nomination form to:

To ensure consideration of the nomination, the nomination form (one form must be completed for each nomination) must be received by USPS, e-mail or personal delivery to the Westmont office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, July 20, 2026.

The executive board will select candidates to fill said vacancies at the July 28, 2026. All nominees will be invited to attend the July meeting at their personal expense. Please note that hotel accommodations are not guaranteed and will be based on hotel availability.

Expenses will be reimbursed only if a nominee is selected to fill a vacancy on the board.

Remember, nominations must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, July 20, 2026.
