UNMASKING RACE: HISTORY, HARM AND HEALING IN THE CLASSROOM

As the current federal administration seeks to deny and erase the history of racism and racist practices that continue to plague our nation, it is vital that educators not only know the truth, but that we are able to confidently and competently teach students about race, racism, and its generational impacts. This workshop will interrogate the role that education has played in maintaining inequity. Participants will begin to design curriculum that incorporates this important history so that students can situate themselves in a larger historical context and see themselves as agents of change. REGISTER HERE.

*Participants will earn 2 PD credits.
